A characteristic gorge that at times looks more like a Latin American jungle than a Dolomite landscape, immersed in a pristine and wild environment to be explored.
The main ingredients are lots of water in all seasons and several jumps that can be dived into deep and lively circular pools that alternate with long corridors smoothed by the water and with no escape routes.
In the final part of the route, the continuity of the gorge, up to now little more than horizontal, is interrupted by a 70m vertical waterfall, the famous Salton waterfall. This has been recently equipped with a Tyrollienne aerial which allows you to descend out of the force of the water, alternatively you can tackle a series of 3 abseils on the hydrographic right, also reequipped where it is necessary to have excellent experience to pass the deviators that allow you to reach a ledge and not end up in the dangerous rotating puddle below. Both solutions can be bypassed with an easy path that allows you to walk downstream of the waterfall. From here a couple more toboggans and jumps and then in 25 minutes you get to the houses of the Molin de Sot.
